World Net Daily has posted "Firefighters ordered into 'gay' parade back in court". In summary four firefighters were given the choice of participating in the gay pride parade or be fired. While at the parade the men were subject to various gestures and verbal abuse that would get anyone in corporate America fired on the spot. And yet the first court hearing said all was well legal.
If I had a "Christian Pride Parade" and told a city employee "you must participate" I would get harassment charges. Yet the twelve member jury said it was all good and the judge from the first case didn't allow photographic evidence of lewd behavior.
The end of the article leaves us with this thought:
There are many that want all to be "tolerated" but what does this entail? Does it mean "accepted" or does it mean "allowed". I can allow a behavior but that doesn't mean I have to accept it as good. The tolerance that they are forcing on these four fireman is that of both allow, accept, and participate in. It's like the lady who gets fired from working for an employer because he wants to have sex with her and she does not accept the offer.
I expect to see more of this, I just wonder in which way people will respond to the "change". California may be headed for it's own little war of ideas due to prop 8 states, "'Only marriage between a man and a woman is valid or recognized in California".
Look for more to come out of California in the near future. But don't expect it to be a happy moment.

"Whether you're gay, whether you're straight, whatever, none of usSo I thought about it and I think this statement is logically incorrect and thus points out much of the problem we see in situations like this. Party A says "but this is good". Party B says "But this is bad" and neither of them are talking about what they want for desert. Essentially they are both talking about a world view and how that view is displayed in the work place. When societies start to diverge on the world views conflicts will arise and eventually one will have to give way to another. The matter in which this happens varies but there will be change.
should have to go into the workplace and be subjected to things that go
against our morals," Matthews told reporters at the time.
