Gay means "happy" you illiterate homosexuals: Grats on California.

Looks like San Fransico is finally getting the government to do what many of the homosexuals already do -- it recognizes the homosexual union. In the 4-3 ruling California Supreme court judges found that the California constitution was not in agreement with the state law that had baned said marriages.

Apparently my Christian brother James Dobson of Focus on the Family wasn't to happy with the court. He stated

It will be up to the people of California to preserve traditional
marriage by passing a constitutional amendment. ... Only then can they
protect themselves from this latest example of judicial tyranny...

I think that is just peachy however I have to disagree with my brother in Christ. For one. I want the government out of the marriage business. Why does it matter what the state thinks? I disagree with the "marriage benefits" we heterosexuals get from big brother government. Then again I disagree with the amount of taxes we have to pay. If we didn't have the tax burden I doubt many people would care about some deduction from the government because we would already be keeping OUR OWN MONEY!

So some guy has some perverted (at least to me) fetish with banging guys. I can honestly say if they are consenting adults I cannot do much about it, after all I value liberty. One aspect of liberty is allowing people to be total idiots and being responsible for their choices. If some guys is still seeking the comfort of a man because his father treated him badly then let him. I think it is a bad idea and has all sorts of other problems that seems to follow the homosexual culture but one aspect of liberty is allowing people to fail and be responsible for their choices.

One other thing I would like to note why does the government seem to allow some people the freedom of association and remove that same freedom from others? Almost every protected class can have their own special groups and no one bats an eye, but if a non-protected group wants to have a special selective group they are harassed by media and lawyers. Why not let people have the freedom of associations, remove the tax burdens, and get the government out of the marriage business. Then this whole thing would be a mute issue and we could move on to how society corrects itself.
